Knitting 3 strands of worsted weight on size 15 needles!! 3 different shades of off-white in a leaf lace pattern I saw in Vogue Knitting.
I love the pattern, and I knew it would make killer curtains!
Bone buttons I'm using for detail.
A nice little felted vine for the top...hanging on a nice piece of dark bamboo. I should add flowers or something later.
And so beautiful with the sun shining through! That was my vision!! Success!!
Now I'm working on 5 more panels just like this one!!

I absolutely love your "New Winter Curtains." Absolutely gorgeous.
Gorgeous! Love it!
Gorgeous! You are an artist!
Your curtains are great! I've been wanting to knit curtains for some time, and you've inspired me to get to it! I was just in NM this summer and loved it, by the way. It's a great state.
I love the curtains! How did you adapt the pattern for curtains? I would love to do it too;since I live in Oregon we could certainly use the extra warmth of the curtains.

Thanks for sharing your vision; so clever and so beautiful with the light shining through
What a brilliant idea. They look so beautiful. I am definitely going to have a go for my home. Thanks for sharing this with others. Julie.
Lovely.
I've always thought knit curtains would be nice, but I know my limits.
I bow to your persistence.
Instead of flowers, how about felted leaves for the top vine?
Pick Up Sticks has patterns for various felted flowers and some leaves. But the leaves might be too big for your needs.
Hello from Uruguay! I congratulate you for your beautiful curtains!
I am a teacher, I have been diagnosed with lupus for many years, why I had to leave my profession. At this time I'm a lover of fabric and wool, and I'm turning into a enthusiastic yarnie.
A big hug for you, and good luck in your life!
I love them! they're beautiful! You sound very happy with your wonderful life in NM.
Absolutely beautiful!
I just read your bio and think it's incredible you're living off grid. My husband and I are planning the same. We're going to start building a tiny cabin in the "mountains" (lol) of Oklahoma hopefully this month and we're going to pay as we go. We want to be loan free and off grid. What do you do for water up there? We have a few ideas but I think that's one thing we can't research enough!
Fabulous! I love these. I want to make them. Keep sharing your vision! It resonates with me.
Thank you everyone so much!! I've never received such an overwhelming positive force of feedback before! This is great!
